Prerequisites
- Role must be tenant_admin, partner_admin, or super_admin.
- Tenant should have connector telemetry and incident activity in the chosen lookback period.
- Reports page should load without authentication or tenant-switch errors.
Generation workflow
- Open Reports -> Identity Security Assessment.
- Select lookback window (7, 14, 30, 60, 90, or 180 days).
- Click Generate new assessment and wait for report creation.
- Review executive summary, topline metrics, and coverage/containment sections.
- Click Download PDF to export a customer-facing snapshot.
What the report includes
- Identity landscape (identity counts and licensing mix).
- Unwanted access, shadow workflows, and rogue application indicators.
- SOC findings and open-vs-resolved incident context.
- Containment action mix and telemetry coverage evidence.
Troubleshooting
- If report list is empty, generate a new assessment first.
- If generation fails, verify current tenant has sufficient data and connector ingestion has run recently.
- If PDF download fails, retry from a freshly loaded report row and confirm browser download permissions.
